Guarantee

Our Commitment to the Customer:

We are justifiably proud of the quality of our products and the service that we provide. Should any item purchased from Workshop Heaven EVER fail to perform as advertised, fail through faulty workmanship or materials or fail to give complete satisfaction, please contact us and we will be happy to repair, replace or issue a full or partial refund for the item as necessary. Management's decision is final; the customer’s statutory rights are not affected.

The Customer's Responsibilities:

Using tools is inherently dangerous. Using hand or power tools improperly or ignoring standard safety practices can lead to serious personal injury or even death.

NEITHER WORKSHOP HEAVEN NOR ANY OF ITS AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTENT PROVIDERS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE CUSTOMER'S WORKING PRACTICES.

We want you to enjoy the craft, so please keep safety foremost in your mind at all times, wear appropriate personal protection equipment, and if something about an operation doesn't feel safe - don't do it!

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. If you do not wish to pay online, you may call us to provide your card information via phone.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When you receive an order confirmation, this will let you know that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Foreign Currency Purchases

If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, your order will be billed in pounds. When placing an order in another currency, please note that the rates shown are a guide to the costs in your chosen currency and you will be billed by your card issuer at the exchange rate at the point of sale.

When payment is taken through PayPal or your credit/debit card provider, the order amount in pounds will be converted to your local currency using the current exchange rate. This means that the amount in your local currency billed to your card or PayPal account could vary from total shown on your invoice.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates can be redeemed, to the amount specified, towards the purchase of products sold on our website (www.workshopheaven.com) for orders placed online or over the phone.

Gift certificates are valid for one year from purchase date which will be indicated on the certificate. Any unused amounts will expire from date of issue, where permissible under applicable law.

The gift certificate will only apply once the value of the basket before shipping costs is equal to or greater than the value of the certificate.

The gift certificate cannot be used to buy Workshop Heaven gift certificates.

The gift certificate cannot be used to pay for postage/packing costs.

If the order exceeds the amount of the gift certificate, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card.

If you return items purchased with a gift certificate, we will credit the value of the item back to the certificate. No cash refunds will be given.

If you have more than one gift certificate you wish to redeem in one transaction, please contact us on +44 (0)1295 678941 during normal office hours to process the payment.

The gift certificate has a cash redemption value of 0.001p and cannot be used retrospectively.

Some products available for sale on the Workshop Heaven website may not be purchased by persons under 18.

Gift certificates (hard copies) are sent out by 2nd class post to UK addresses free of charge. Should you need a physical copy sent by a faster method, please choose a paid service. Electronic copies (pdf) can be sent to all destinations by email. All gift certificate delivery options are shown at checkout. Please indicate your preference at checkout.

Discount codes

Discount code will be applied to qualifying purchases at www.workshopheaven.com made online or by phone.

Discount codes do not apply to shipping costs.

Discount codes are not valid for products already discounted, on special offer, gift certificates or on products delivered directly from suppliers.

Discount codes are valid only for a limited time which will be specified at the time of issue.

Should you wish to use a discount code and gift certificate in one transaction - please call us on +44 (0)1295 678941 during normal office hours to process your order.

Only one discount code per transaction.

Schtickle

Schtickle is a section for all the odds and ends: end of line, imperfects, returns, discontinued items, damaged or incomplete items, samples and other schtickle.

Rules of schtickle:

We will endeavour to ensure that all schtickle items are accurately listed including any defects.

If you are not satisfied with your schtickle item please notify us within 14 days, thereafter - you own it!

Schtickle items are not covered by our usual Workshop Heaven lifetime warranty.

Workshop Heaven discount codes don't work on schtickle.

The schtickle section may appear and disappear at will, depending on how much schtickle we have.

Product Export Restrictions

Due to retail exclusivity restrictions, we are unable to ship Quangsheng products to North America.

Knives and Age Restrictive Products

Some items we sell are age restricted, each clearly marked as such in the product description, and cannot be sold to people under the age of 18. We reserve the right to carry out age verification checks and if we have been unable to satisfactorily confirm your age by other means, you will be contacted and asked to send to us proof of your age by post or email in the form of a copy of your driving licence/passport which shows your age and your billing address.

To ensure there is no delay in receiving your order - email a photo or scan, clearing showing your name, (billing) address and age to sales@workshopheaven.com when placing your order.

Only when we have verified you are over 18 will your order will be shipped. A note will be added to your account, the image will be deleted, and you will not be asked to provide it again.

Please note, we do not to deliver to school addresses.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. With orders of multiple items, we will deliver the items in stock and back orders will be shipped automatically once they become available at no extra charge to you.

Tax Charges

For orders delivered to the UK (except Jersey* and Guernsey*) or within the European Union, 20% VAT is added.

Orders shipped to all other locations are VAT free.

*Please note that you should choose the appropriate Island in the 'Country' field of your address and VAT will be deducted accordingly.

If you have a valid EU VAT Number, please enter it on check out and the VAT will be deducted accordingly.

Products delivered to destinations outside the UK may be subject to export and import formalities, taxes, fees, duties or other charges, which are imposed by the local authorities when the goods arrive in your country and for which the recipient is responsible for. These are not included in the price we have charged you.

We have no control over these charges and cannot offer any advice regarding the implications so would advise contacting your local customs office for further information.

Please also note that international deliveries may be inspected by customs at any point on their journey to you.

Delivery and Returns

Standard Delivery Information

UK Delivery Information – FREE shipping for orders over £100

FREE shipping is offered on orders over £100 dependent on your postcode area.

Unfortunately, the cost of shipping to the Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands precludes us from offering free shipping to these areas and your shipping will be charged at cost.

When Free Shipping is chosen it will be sent the cheapest way possible and although the majority will get to you in 2-4 days, it may take up to 10 days to arrive. If you require your order sooner, please choose a paid service.

UK Delivery Information – Orders under £100

Workshop Heaven offers a range of delivery options using Royal Mail and tracked courier services. Pricing is based on the postcode entered at check out. Dependent on the postcode and the weight of the parcel you will be offered the following services:

If the parcel is damaged upon arrival, please refuse delivery and ask the courier to return the goods to us. Please contact us at support@workshopheaven.com to let us know, so we can promptly arrange for a replacement or refund.

UK Delivery Timescales

We aim to despatch all orders placed before 1pm Monday-Thursday and before 12pm Friday on the same working day. At busy times, orders with free shipping may be despatched the following working day.

We do not process orders over the weekend or on Bank Holidays, so if you place your order after 12pm noon on Friday and throughout the weekend, we will despatch it to you on the next working day.

Royal Mail aim to deliver the next day, including Saturdays (not including Sundays)

We reserve the right to send your parcel by first class post if necessary.

For all timed delivery services, we need to have received your order by 1pm, if it is later than 1pm please call to enquire whether it is still possible - if the parcels haven't already been collected by the courier we may be able to help.

For orders placed after 1pm Monday thru Wednesday, parcels will be dispatched the following morning to arrive before noon the day after. For example, an order placed at 7pm Wednesday will arrive before noon on Friday.

For orders placed after 1pm Thursday, delivery will be before noon on the following Monday (excludes Bank Holidays).

For orders placed after 12pm noon Friday, delivery will be before noon on the following Tuesday (excludes Bank Holidays).

If you need your order to arrive on Saturday, please choose the Saturday by 12 option and place your order before 12pm noon on Friday.

International Delivery Information

Workshop Heaven ships to addresses around the world. We offer a range of delivery options using Royal Mail and tracked courier services. The cost of delivery is based on the total weight of the order. Dependent on the country, the postcode and the weight of the parcel you may be offered:

Couriers may charge a remote delivery fee. If this is the case, it will be built into the price you see at checkout.

Proof of Delivery

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Undeliverable Parcels

We do not take responsibility for incorrect addresses input by you, the customer, at the point of check out. Please double check the delivery address carefully when placing your order.

Occasionally parcels are returned to us as undeliverable after failed delivery attempt(s). When we receive a parcel back as undeliverable, we’ll issue a full refund, including the delivery costs unless the address you provided us was incorrect, or the parcel was refused by the recipient, in which case only the cost of goods will be refunded.

If you'd still like to purchase the items in that undelivered parcel, you will need to place a new order. If this repeat order, to that same address, is then returned to us a second time as undeliverable, we will only refund the cost of the goods, and not the delivery charges.

Gift Certificates

Refund and returns Policy
All Workshop Heaven products are warranted against faulty materials and workmanship for the duration of the customer's life. Consumables are excepted, but please expect your glues and finishes to be fresh, and files, rasps and blades to have a long service life.

We want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe (officially 2 weeks) and we will happily exchange or refund it.

It's important that all returned items are in the best possible condition, so please take reasonable care of them and keep all packaging. If you change your mind about your purchase, it can make your return easier and quicker to administer if you send back the item as soon as possible.

Please send us an email or give us a call in advance of any return so we are expecting your parcel and include your order number and contact details in the return parcel.

Right to Cancel
Should you change your mind and wish to cancel your order, please contact us in writing within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods

Goods should be returned unused, in original condition and packaging along with any promotional items to the address shown above at your cost and within 14 calendar days of informing us of your wish to cancel. Please retain a proof of postage.

We will refund the basic delivery costs of getting the goods to you, so if you opted for an enhanced service e.g.: guaranteed next day, we will only refund the basic standard delivery cost. We do not refund your return delivery costs under your Right to Cancel.

Faulty Products
If the product is faulty, please return the item the cheapest way possible e.g. 2nd Class Post (please retain a proof of postage) and once the fault has been confirmed your postage will also be refunded.

This excludes the products listed as exceptions below, unless faulty or not as described, which we cannot refund or offer an exchange on:
* special order products which are not listed on our website
* custom made products
* unsealed DVDs

Condition of Returns
It's important that all returned items are in the best possible condition, so please take reasonable care of them and keep all packaging. If you change your mind about your purchase, it can make your return easier and quicker to administer if you send back the item as soon as possible.


Refund Procedure
If you return a faulty product to us we'll refund the original debit/credit card or PayPal account used for the purchase.

If the product is faulty, and has been returned the cheapest way possible (e.g. 2nd Class post), we will refund the return postage. If you choose to return the parcel by a more expensive means, we will only refund you to the value of 2nd Class post.

If you return items which are outside our Refund and Returns Policy, we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee, and/or refund in the form of a credit note.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Your privacy is of the highest importance to us, and we promise never to release your personal details to any outside company for mailing or marketing purposes.

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we will send you details of special offers, new products and promotions by email, usually once a month.  We won’t bombard you with messages and you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of the email or contacting us at support@workshopheaven.com. We pay a company called Mailchimp to manage our email list, distribute emails and keep our toes on the line with all current email marketing legislation.

When you make a purchase from our website, we collect certain personal information from you: your name, payment address, email address and phone number.

In order to process your payment securely, we use a reputable third-party payment provider - PayPal. When you click the 'Confirm Order' button on our website, your order details will be sent to Paypal, which will use those details to verify and authorise your payment and to process your order. PayPal are obliged under EU legislation to keep your personal information private.

Information that we collect about you

We realise how important it is to store securely any information that you provide. Workshop Heaven maintains the highest levels of internet security. Our website is fully PCI DSS compliant for online transactions. You can therefore rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.

We also hold an SSL Certificate to safeguard any data passed between your web browser and our site.
