Saws

Saws

A sharp well tuned handsaw is a wonderful tool to use; smooth, precise and inherently accurate, they are a 'must have' item in every woodworkers toolbox

The cutting range of a handsaw is between 3 and 12 teeth engaged in the timber at any one time, so a 15 tpi saw will be comfortable cutting material between 1/5" and 4/5" thick. It will be smoother on thicker material and faster on thinner material within that range.

All of our traditional handsaws are resharpenable unless otherwise stated. If you are not confident with resharpening saws we are here to help, be it with free videos and advice or recommending a saw doctor.
