As a result of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak Royal Mail have announced that some parts of the country may experience varying levels of service disruption due to Coronavirus-related absences and necessary social distancing measures. 

While our couriers work to keep everyone safe, with the additional pressure on their services, there may be disruptions to some services under the current conditions.

 

UK Delivery Information – FREE shipping for orders over £100

FREE shipping is offered on orders over £100 to all UK postcodes.

When Free Shipping is chosen it will be sent the cheapest way possible and although the majority will get to you in 2-4 days working days, it may take up to 7 working days to arrive. If you require your order sooner, please choose a paid service.

 

UK Delivery Information – Orders under £100

Workshop Heaven offers a range of delivery options using Royal Mail and tracked courier services. Prices and service options are shown at shopping cart and checkout dependent on the postcode and the weight of the parcel. You will be offered the following services:

 

Royal Mail

  • Tracked 24 - this service aims to deliver next working day but is not guaranteed
  • Tracked 48 - this service aims to deliver within 2 to 3 working days but is not guaranteed

 

DHL

  • UK Express
  • UK Express by 12

 

UK Delivery Timescales

We aim to despatch all orders placed before 1pm Monday - Friday on the same working day. At busy times, orders with free shipping may be despatched the following working day.

We do not process orders over the weekend or on Bank Holidays, so if you place your order after 1pm on Friday and throughout the weekend, we will despatch it to you on the next working day.

Royal Mail 

We offer Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 Services. Royal Mail delivers 6 days a week in the UK, including Saturdays (not including Sundays).  Please note that delivery times are not guaranteed and parcels may occasional take longer than 1-2 days.

DHL UK Express

DHL aim to deliver by the end of the next possible business day

DHL UK Express by 12*

DHL aim to deliver by 12 noon* the next business day

For Timed Delivery Services

We need to have received your order by 1pm, if it is later than 1pm please call to enquire whether it is still possible - if the parcels haven't already been collected by the courier we may be able to help.

For orders placed after 1pm Monday thru Wednesday, parcels will be dispatched the following morning to arrive before noon the day after. For example, an order placed at 7pm Wednesday will arrive before noon on Friday.

For orders placed after 1pm Thursday, delivery will be before noon on the following Monday (excludes Bank Holidays).

For orders placed after 1pm Friday, delivery will be before noon on the following Tuesday (excludes Bank Holidays).

 

DHL Saturday Service

If you need your order to arrive on Saturday, please place your order before 12 noon on Friday chosing "pay by phone"  and call us to get a price.

These are imposed by your local authority, are applied when the goods arrive in your country, for which you, the recipient, is responsible for.

These are not included in the product price or delivery costs we have charged you.

We have no control over these charges and cannot offer any advice regarding the amounts or implications.

Workshop Heaven ships to addresses around the world. We offer a range of delivery options using Royal Mail and tracked courier services. The cost of delivery is based on the total weight of the order. Dependent on the country, the postcode, value and the weight of the parcel you may be offered:

Damaged Parcel

If the parcel is damaged upon arrival, please refuse delivery and ask the courier to return the goods to us. Please contact us at support@workshopheaven.com to let us know, so we can promptly arrange for a replacement or refund.

 

Proof of Delivery

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

We or the courier accept no liability if you, the customer, asks for, or make arrangements with, the courier to have your parcel left anywhere without the need to provide your signature as proof of receipt. 

The courier will ask you to complete and sign an authorisation which states “I hereby accept the DHL Terms and Conditions and authorise DHL to deliver my shipment as specified. I release DHL and my Shipper (Workshop Heaven) from all liability for any loss or damage that may result from delivering the shipment according to my request.”

Asking for a parcel to be left in “safe place”  is done so entirely at your own risk and we are not responsible if the parcel is not found where you asked it to be left. 

 

Undeliverable Parcels

We do not take responsibility for incorrect addresses input by you, the customer, at the point of check out. Please double check the delivery address carefully when placing your order.

Occasionally parcels are returned to us as undeliverable after failed delivery attempt(s). When we receive a parcel back as undeliverable, we’ll issue a full refund, including the delivery costs unless the address you provided us was incorrect, or the parcel was refused by the recipient, in which case only the cost of goods will be refunded.

If you'd still like to purchase the items in that undelivered parcel, you will need to place a new order. If this repeat order, to that same address, is then returned to us a second time as undeliverable, we will only refund the cost of the goods, and not the delivery charges.
