Made by a small family firm in Birmingham England, these beautiful mallets are turned from select billets of fine timbers, in this case elm and olivewood. Both timbers will develop a rich patina over time.
The smooth olivewood handle fills the hand beautifully, giving a wonderful sense of comfort and control. The balance is spot on for light to medium blows, perfect for carving or cabinetmaking.
The handle is secured in the traditional manner by a full length wedged through tenon.
