The original Stuarts Micrometer Engineer's Marking Blue is a non-abrasive, non-drying, easily-spread marking paste containing a high concentration of pure Prussian blue in a grease base. Used in engineering to illustrate contact areas between mated surfaces, particularly useful when scraping components.
Apply sparingly, Stuarts Micrometer engineer's blue has a very high pigment content so a little goes a very long way.
Unlike layout fluid, engineers blue is non-drying, it is designed to transfer between components indicating points of contact.
