Elmers

Elmers

Elmers is a household name (if not a national institution) in the United States - the original parent company, Borden, manufactured food products and had a cow named Elsie as its mascot. When the company ventured into caesin (milk protein) based glue in the 1930's Elsie's husband, Elmer the bull, was chosen as the logo for the new product and Elmer's glue was born. Today Elmer's glue is fully synthetic and doesn't contain any animal products.
