In beautiful condition and very little used, this complete matching set of Jennings pattern augers by William Ridgway of Sheffield still have a lifetime of service ahead of them.
3/16” to 1” by sixteenths, plus an unused ¾” countersink.
Established in 1878 and based first in Rockingham Street and later Edward Street, Wm Ridgway became one of Sheffield’s most prolific manufacturers of wood boring tools. Thanks to their excellent natural stability, Jennings pattern auger bits tend to be the preferred choice of furniture makers.
Supplied in a new British made auger roll with a new auger bit file.
