The original Richard Kell bevel gauge has now been in continuous production for over twenty years. This delightful little gadget accurately measures the bevel angles of chisels and plane irons, indispensable for freehand sharpening.
The twelve accurate angle cut-outs have the apex cut away to prevent damage to prepared cutting edges.
Angles (in degrees): 15, 17.5, 20, 22.5, 25, 27.5, 30, 32.5, 35, 45, 60 and 120
Overall diameter: 2"

Lovely guage
This has been very useful in setting up a couple of new (to me) planes. It'll sit in a draw for a while now. Lucky its brass :0).

Nice little Gauge
Nice little Gauge, but either Mr Kell's gauge is off, or my Veritas MK 11 honing guide is out off whack.

Excellent
Does just what it says, I found it very useful for a whole collection of chisels that I'd inherited and had to resharpen.

So useful, don't know how I managed without it!
This gauge is so useful for checking the angles on new chisels and plane blades, I bought recently, and for checking the results of my freehand grinding and honing. No need for guesswork anymore. Smaller than I had expected it is just right for the job it's meant for.
