Liogier riffler rasps are a carver's dream; light and delicate and wonderfully fine with densely stitched teeth for a superior finish.
The No.3 riffler has a brush on one end, and an olive on the other. The olive is narrower, plumper and more pointed than the brush, used in the same way as the thumb and sage leaf on a No.4 these give a choice of radii and tip shape for creating subtle hollows within shaped surfaces like fabric or skin.
