Liogier riffler rasps are a carver's dream; light and delicate and wonderfully fine with densely stitched teeth for a superior finish.
The No.1 riffler has a spoon on one end (similar to a thumb shape but wider at the tip) and a knife rasp at the other, the knife is lovely for creeping up on features and creating crisp dark shadow lines, the spoon is for working shallow curves and hollows making this quite a versatile choice for sculptural work.
