GB0049 Jarrah Burr 7.7kg

Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata, part of the  myrtle family), is one of most common species of Eucalyptus tree.

Its flowers have an amazing perfume, that bloom every other year, which attract bees from far and wide and it makes for lovely honey.

The timber is so hardwearing that it is used as railway sleepers and was once used as block pavers on the streets on London, before Tarmac, as a quieter road surface compared to granite.

  • Approximate dimensions: 460 x 270 x 140mm (L x W x D)
  • Green weight: 7.7kg
  • Dry weight: 5.8kg
