New American Cherry Quangsheng Handles

The first of the new American cherry handled Quangsheng planes have arrived. So far we have No.5’s jack planes and bronze spokeshaves in cherry wood, but it will shortly be introduced across the full range, replacing the bubinga handles completely.

The marking gauges are in walnut at the moment, whether this will eventually change to cherry too I’m not sure, but different timbers might be a nice way to tell them apart if you are using more than one on a project.

Once all the different sizes of cherry handle have been made we will start stocking them as replacement parts, but if you’d prefer one of the original bubinga handled planes, there really is no time like the present!
